Park Maintenance, a part of the parks and recreation department of the city of Richardon in Texas, manages more than 1,500 acres of land and over 20 miles of trails. The land area under its maintenance includes medians, public building land, ditches and more than 900 acres of parkland. The division is also responsible for maintaining athletic fields, swimming pools, greenhouse operations and a fountain. Additionally, the division is in charge of city street sweeping, urban forestry and street banner programs. The division also sets up and dismantles facilities for special events and festivals.
