i.e., I work as a Skydive Instructor 10 miles north (in Butler) at Skydive Kansas City on the weekends. There is a Super 8 and a Days Inn there that have the worst reviews I've ever read, so I kept looking and found Apache. It was clean. The owner lives onsite and is very pleasant. You just have to imagine your staying on the set of "That 70's Show". As I left, I asked her to hold a room for me for the following weekend as well. I will stay here again.A local favorite, or highly recommended because

HUNTERS WELCOME!!! This independent motel is SUPER CLOSE to the 14,000 FOUR RIVERS CONSERVATION facility, nationally known for great DUCK hunting!! They have fresh, clean, reasonable rooms and loads of parking for boats, ATV's, etc! Most importantly they CATER to HUNTERS! If you love to hunt, STAY IN RICH HILL at Apache Motel and be close to your hunt and happy with your stay!

We have stayed here once a year for the last 3 years. Julie is great - always has air conditioning on so room is nice and cool when we arrive. The rooms are very clean and inexpensive which is always a plus. Staff is very friendly and are pet friendly also. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling through area wanting a great place to stay!

The Apache Motel is locally owned and operated by friendly, efficient folks. The rooms are very inexpensive and simple, but immaculately clean with everything working as it should.
