The Truro Township Fire Department provides firefighting and emergency medical services to more than 35,000 residents in Franklin County, Ohio. It employs over 35 full-time firefighters and paramedics. Established in 1937, the Truro Township Fire Department also maintains mutual aid and automatic response agreements with several other fire departments. The fire department offers training to staff members in the areas of firefighting and the use of technical equipment. It maintains specialty equipment, such as a rescue van and water rescue and recovery trailer. Additionally, it operates a fleet of emergency medical service vehicles equipped with advanced life support systems. The Truro Township Fire Department is located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
