Founded in 1986 by Dr. George T. Brooks, Professional and Scientific Associates has its roots in the National Institute of Health. At the outset, Brooks envisioned an organization that would provide technical services to support the nation s research community. Now, most PSA clients look for support in the area of events management (peer/grant review, conferences, special events) and graphic design. However, since 1999, PSA has offered clients an in-house graphic design studio. Additionally, Diplomatic Solutions was launched by the firm to provide advance services and direct consultation to clients in the critical areas of security, protocol, transportation and media relations. PSA is one of the 300 largest Hispanic-owned firms in America.
