The Media Research Center, also known as MRC, is a research and educational foundation. It is a nonprofit organization that has been in operation since 1987. The center s online store offers a range of books, bumper stickers and T-shirts. It accepts donations from individuals and institutions. The center s news analysis division works to maintain political balance by documenting and countering liberal bias from television news shows and print publications. The Media Research Center administers the Business & Media Institute and the Culture and Media Institute. The center also operates a blog, NewsBusters.org. It works with several radio stations and television channels. The Media Research Center provides an online collection of news columns.
