Established in 1956, Vaughn Middle School serves students in grades seven and eight and offers a range of athletic activities, such as basketball, cross country, wrestling, volleyball, and track and field. The school s academic courses include science, language arts, math, foreign language, special education and social studies. The school has a library that offers a collection of books on various topics and provides a range of databases, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers, online resources and reference materials to students. Vaughn Middle School additionally provides nursing services and offers information to students on various medical conditions, such as vomiting, diarrhea and rashes. The school is located in Reno, Nev.
