As for the negative reviews.... even brain surgeons have bad days! We have been buying desk top and laptop computers from these guys for over 5 years... and are heading back again this week end ... we've had a house fire and lost everything.. need replacements... kids needed 'em for studies... we've needed 'em for travel... always fast service, super reasonable prices... never over sell or push what you do not need.

They may not have gracious social skills or win personality contests. They may be having an off day like we all do on occasion... give them a break... they are what they are ... computer geeks... that is what they do. and that is what you want from them... They are not perfect.. only Jesus was... and the rest of us can only aspire to follow in Christs shoes.... however these gents at UCW are honest... fast... dependable and know computers!!!!!!!!!! Do not be scared off. They will provide you with what you want and need... and not stiff you!

Being a computer technician myself I thought I would take a visit to a store I send a few customers to if I don't have any refurbished computers. When I walked in I found one person at the front counter speaking on the phone, nothing wrong with that. But, after the call ended he never said a thing to me. I had to be the first person to say hello. I believe that if you're running a store you (the worker) should ALWAYS be the first to acknowledge the customer. I will never send another customer to this store. Ever.

Exellent Store. I have purchased 2 computers from them. One lap top and one desk top. I first purchased a lop top from them while my NEW lap top that I bought at one of those giant discount stores was being repaired under warranty, which took 4 weeks! Then the warranty didn't cover software so I had to purchase software that was on it when I bought it! I bought a used lap top from Used Computer Warehouse because it was inexpensive and I had to have a computer to support my customers while my other one was being repaired. After several weeks the used lap top developed a corruption in the operating system ( virus,worm, or something). I took it back, they saved my files, reloaded the operating system, and all the other programs, in one day. And it only cost $30. I am now using the used lap top as my primary computer because I know if any thing goes wrong I can get it repaired quickly. I also purchased a used desk top for my home and it works great. It turns out that a new computer was not a Best Buy.
