I went with a friend to Sears at Meadowood mall to buy a new refrigerator. The add said free delivery with $400+. They said that free delivery was only in Reno. We understand that. But the store would not even consider delivery to Quincy, Cal. Even if we paid for the delivery!!! The distance is only 65 miles away. There used to be a sears store in Quincy but they closed it. Now they won't deliver appliances, even if paid?? My friend has to pick up the refrigerator at the store and transport it home. Thank you very much Sears for the really crappy service!!! I know , I won't buy from you any more.

Went to store to buy a washer, 3 sales associates were chatting away, nobody acknowledged my husband;'s presence. Now we are spending our money at Home Depot or similar.

This is for the department store The basic associates are fine. they do their job well enough. but i waited at a register for 15+ minutes because the cashier needed approval for a discounted item off the rack. the manager was called directly and still no where to be found. so i left the store (paying the full amount) and gave him a call. he says he was in a conference call all day. apolizes and says he couldn't do anything and offers to give me a corp number. now i worked in retail for 3 years. i believe he should have offered a gift card with some spare cash to apoligize for his lack of tact, planning or something. thats why my last store would have done for the inconvience.
