while on vacation in beautiful San Diego, I ate lunch in a lovely little beach town called mission beach. The deli was called Rubicon Deli and it changed my life! The sandwhiches were so amazingly good it saddened me to think this place was only in San Diego. After getting back home to Reno other places just weren't there in comparison. One day by accident I drove by California street and saw a small sign with an arrows point to the back of a building that read RUBICON DELI. I pulled over immediately and what do you know I end up find out that this little gem only has 3 locations, 2 are in San Diego and 1 in RENO!! I don't know how long this location has been around for or if it's the original doesn't matter I'm just glad I don't have to wait to go on vacation for a great sandwich.
