Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) is a renewable energy development company. As a public company, the firm holds 100 percent leasehold interest in four projects in Nevada, Blue Mountain, Pumpernickel, Black Warrior and Edna Mountain and one in Oregon, Crump Geyser. The five geothermal energy projects of the company have a production potential of up to 200 MW, which can power approximately 200,000 homes. In addition, Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) has a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement for up to 49.5 MW gross of geothermal power at Blue Mountain with NV Energy (formerly Nevada Power Company).
