- About Me I grew up in Gardnerville, Nevada before moving to Reno to attend the University of Nevada, Reno. In 2005, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Ecology and became a prosthetic technician in Carson City, Nevada soon after. In 2007, I finished my Prosthetic Certificate Program through the state of California.   Shortly after obtaining my Prosthetic Certificate Program, I worked towards a national accreditation through the American Board of Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I continue to expand my knowledge and education to this day through courses and classes. This helps me to remain at the forefront of new technologies that are affecting prosthetic care. I live and work in Reno, Nevada. I am often found skiing and mountain biking when I’m not in the office. Local prosthetist Scott Forrester C.P. first opened Forrester Custom Prosthetics in 2011 with one goal in mind: to better serve the amputee populations of Nevada and California. We are committed to providing the highest quality prosthetic devices along with the most personable and professional dedication to our customers.
