Gastroenterology Consultants is a gastroenterology practice unit that serves the communities in northern Nevada. It offers various services, such as colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and esophageal manometry. It also offers endoscopic ultrasound technology that combines endoscopy with ultrasound for detailed examinations of the lining and walls of the gastrointestinal tract and internal organs. Additionally, it offers capsule endoscopy to diagnose diseases of the small intestine, including Crohn's Disease, Celiac disease and other malabsorption disorders. It operates the Reno Endoscopy Center and the Carson Endoscopy Center. The centers are Medicare-certified and are approved by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. It has a group of more than 14 physicians in three locations in Reno, Carson City and Minden, Nev.
