Desert Heights Elementary School, located in Reno, Nev., is a public that is part of Washoe County School District. Founded in 1994, it enrolls more than 550 students from grades kindergarten through six. The school expects parents to be the primary educators of their children, and complements the family in a joint effort to impart a comprehensive education, including cultural, moral, physical and academic development.
