We've been taking our pet's to Dr. Andrus for a few years now and have appreciated the wonderful top notch care they've received. We appreciate that he takes his time and educates us about their care and condition.
We have brought both of our Yorkshire terriers to Fairgrounds Animal Hosp. since they were puppies, our oldest is now 12. Dr. Andrus and Dr. Johnson are great at what they do. We never have a problem getting our dogs in at the last minute when there is an important issue going on with them. Our oldest dog has bonded with Dr. Andrus and loves him. When he went blind due to diabetes Dr. Andrus referred us to a specialist who was able to restore our dogs eye sight. They have treated every illness and injury to complete satisfaction. Our terriers are quite active and have had their share of bumps and bruises. But they are both in the best of health, even the 12 year old with diabetes. He has more energy since his diagnosis and treatment that we can hardly keep up with him. As far as I'm concerned this is the only Vet in town. C. McClintock

I took my pet in for a procedure they told me it would take 5 minutes. Two hours later after telling them I had to be somewhere over and over they returned my pet. Then I had to call them for two days to get medication for my pet, then they said it would be another day for the medication and to call before came in case it was not ready. It is to bad they don't care if your pet is in pain.

Its a terrible office.... animal went in for a dental extraction and ended up getting spayed!!!! Also, regarding animals being muzzled - whenever your animal is taken to the back they are muzzled.
One of the lowest charging clinics in Reno. Great caring staff. Will stay late if needed. Would rather take the time to calm an anxious animal then muzzle them. Chuck will allow you to assist him during examinations, instead of staff, if he personally knows you and knows that you can handle the animal you have with you.
