Andrea began her career as a registered nurse in a medical-surgical setting working to gain a strong foundation in nursing. Years earlier, she had seen a family member receive comprehensive care under a nurse practitioner and was inspired by the autonomy and professionalism of this role. She made it her long-term goal to pursue her masters in nursing to become a nurse practitioner. She returned to school and completed the family nurse practitioner program at University of Nevada, Reno in 2012. She spent over 5 years in primary care and family practice before joining Sierra Neurosurgery Group in the fall of 2017.With a foundation in primary care, Andrea understands caring for the whole patient, physically and emotionally. She has brought this experience with her to our practice and is compassionate in her care of patients.
