Pickens County High School enrolls students in grades 7 through 12. The school provides educational services to more than 380 students. Its academic curriculum includes English, science, computer education, social science, math, and family and consumer science. The school maintains a library and computer laboratory. Its staff includes a secretary, counselor, nurse, media specialist and custodian. Pickens County High School offers opportunities to participate in sports, such as baseball, basketball, football, softball, cross-country, and track and field. It also operates a parent-teacher organization. The school provides membership opportunities in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. Additionally, it offers counseling services, as well as serves a range of food items, including milk, cheeseburgers, pizzas, green beans, sandwiches and fruits. Located in Reform, Ala., Pickens County High School is operated by the Pickens County School System, which operates an elementary and middle and high schools and has a staff of over 200 employees.
