Established in 1967, Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf is a nonprofit academic institution. It offers a range of learning opportunities to students with hearing impairments. The school provides a speech and language therapy, as well as listening skills development services to children and their families. Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf maintains a staff of teachers, pathologists, occupational therapists and clinical psychologists.
