Spring Street Shelter provides temporary accommodations and features several dormitories that are equipped with more than 15 beds. It offers emergency shelter and support services for homeless adults with mental illnesses. The facility provides meal services and has several laundry facilities. Spring Street Shelter offers assistance in obtaining employment, medical and mental health treatment, social services and financial benefits. The facility organizes group activities that are designed to improve daily living skills. In addition, it provides assistance in securing and maintaining stable housing. Spring Street Shelter is a part of the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County, which is a nonprofit organization.
