The McKinley Institute of Technology, also known as MIT, is a middle school that serves students in grades six through eight. It conducts classes in science, physical education, social studies, mathematics and language arts. The school also operates a library. The McKinley Institute of Technology offers special education sessions to individuals with learning difficulties. Established in 1927, it additionally provides an online newsletter. The school s classrooms feature Internet access and televisions. The McKinley Institute of Technology has partnerships with the Information Technology Association of America and The Tech Museum of Innovation. It is a part of the Redwood City School District.
