About Coast Lighting With almost 50 years of experience, Coast Lighting has established itself as a premiere one-stop lighting store for both consumers and trade professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. The original Coast Lighting was established in the Pacific Heights neigborhood of San Francisco in 1956 by a San Francisco native. A quarter century later, in 1981, the current owners took over and continued to build on the excellent reputation the company had earned. In 1987, Coast Lighting relocated to the Peninsula, to Redwood City, and in 1994, the Company moved to its current location in Redwood City, right along El Camino Real: an attractive building with a large 10, 000 square feet showroom displaying more than 2000 products from over a hundred manufacturers, both domestic and international. You will see the well-known names in traditional-style lighting: Quoizel, Murray Feiss, Nulco, Minka, Arroyo Craftsen, Schonbek, and more. As for contemporary lines, we have much to offer, too, with brands such as Techlighting, 2000 Degress, Alfa, WAC, and more. What really sets us apart from the competition, though, is how we complement our wide and deep inventory with very helpful lighting consultation, whether in our store gratis, or in your place. And to make the buying experience even better for our clients, we will meet or beat prices from any competitor, whether home improvement centers or internet stores!
