RTC Orange Dot Class (1 hr 15 min)

• This is our entry to tennis class for children from 5 to 8 years old. We use a beginner ball which is orange, slower and larger that a normal ball, making it much easier to hit and earn success with a skill. This class is the next level up from Red Dot and teaches children: How to hold a racket Swing path Basic closed and open stance Volleys Groundstrokes Ready position, split step, first step and recovery Service game Coordination: Many drills are designed to help kids become better at hand-eye and footwork coordination.

Premier 12&U (1 hr 45 min)

• Lead by Head Coach Marcos Ondruska, this class is by invitation only with the main objective to prepare students ages 12 & under for tournament play. Young players wanting to join this class must be able to demonstrate the basics of stroke production, grip change, tennis movement and rallying (based on the USTA Player Development Competencies by age). Further class requirements: * All players must pass an evaluation * All players must be able to commit to a minimum of two classes per week * All players must be willing to play tournaments when deemed ready The three main class objectives: * Develop technique, movement, strategy * Promote respect for the game of tennis through sportsmanship, preparation and learning * Prepare young players for tournaments and provide parent education If you are interested in joining this class, please send us an email: redmondtennisclub@gmail.com.

• Lead by Director of Tennis and Head Coach Marcos Ondruska and Coach Jack Streeter, RTC Premier Level 1&2 (formerly HP 1&2) are for talented players (ages 10-18) serious about improving their game by way of professional instruction, who are interested in flexible attendance options (no required minimum weekly attendance).
