USDA Forest Service Redmond Air Center, located in Redmond, Ore., is one of the Deschutes National Forest offices. Deschutes National Forest was established in 1908 from parts of the Blue Mountains, Cascade, and Fremont National Forests. It is one of the most popular recreation forests in the Pacific Northwest. The forest attracts more than 8 million people every year to camp, fish, hike, hunt, ski, and enjoy various outdoor activities.
