When we first opened in Eugene, Oregon 35 years ago, Hardenbrook Hardwoods was making a line of handmade cutting boards, knife blocks and free-standing butcher blocks. Eric ran the shop while Kerry drew on her years as an artist and floral designer to refine designs and help with sales. For several fun years the business did well then a recession and the birth of two awesome children meant a more steady source of income was needed. The shop was closed and Eric took a job making adhesives for Oregon’s wood products industry. Then in 1989, the family packed up and moved over the Cascade Mountains to Bend, where Eric became a general contractor. After 20 years of building homes and several years as an internet marketing consultant, Eric and Kerry decided to refocus on what they truly enjoyed, working together and with beautiful woods. Fast Forward to Today: Hardenbrook Hardwoods is excited to reopen with a fresh line of cutting boards designed to be personalized. With a friend or clients name engraved on the front and a simple message from you on the back, they’re perfect for wedding, housewarming or appreciation gifts. Add your business logo and contact information to the back and you’ve got an impressive closing gift that reminds your clients of you for decades.
