      Deschutes Pet Lodge is a locally owned and operated pet boarding facility in Redmond, Oregon. The staff members at Deschutes Pet Lodge are dedicated to paying close attention to your pet's needs, as well as providing a clean and healthy environment. We are recommended by veterinarians and dog care professionals throughout the Central Oregon area. Our staff is absolutely the best around - just ask any of our customers (human or pet)! Deschutes Pet Lodge was awarded Best of Bend 2008 Editor's Pick for "Best Place To Lodge Your Pet" All of our rooms are climate controlled for your pet's comfort. The surfaces are disinfected with products that are safe for your pet and for the environment. We serve premium pet food with no soy, corn or wheat. If you prefer, we can use food you bring. There is no additional cost either way. We will also give your pet simple medications at no extra charge. There is a minimal charge of $2.00 per shot for insulin injections. If your pet needs specialized or post-surgical care (such as bandaging), we may charge a small fee for this added service. We provide bedding for your pet (as long as your dog does not chew it!), but you may also bring your pet's own bedding if it is machine washable (no fluffy beds or foam, please). We cannot be responsible for any damage to your pet's bedding as a result of washing. If your dog has arthrtis or is uncomfortable on flooring, please ask about our Kuranda beds. You may bring toys or chews for your dog as long as they are not ones that would be a hazard if your dog is not supervised! We offer grooming for your pet during boarding or by appointment. All our baths use the new Hydrotherapy System. This bathing system gets the shampoo deep into your pet's coat and helps remove the dead undercoat and dander.
