Established in 1966, Moore Middle School is located in Redlands, Calif., and is one of the three middle schools within the Redlands Unified School District. The school enrolls more than 1,500 students in grades six through eight. Many clubs are associated with the school, including Breakfast Bible Club, engineering club, homework club, advancement via individual determination, math counts, monarch music and science Olympiad. Advancement via individual determination is a special program designed to prepare students for admission to four-year universities and colleges. The main components of the program are academic instruction, tutorial support and motivational activities. The science Olympiad tournaments are academic interscholastic competitions that consist of a series of individual and team events.
