This is a new restaurant, similar in menu and price to the popular Kay's Cafe in Highland, only smaller and more personal. Fresh made waffles are excellent, as is the country gravy and homemade soups. try the homemade coffee cake. A diverse and full menu for such a small operation. The owner is often on-site and is an experienced cook and waitress, so service and quality are closely monitored. Family style, family oriented, family owned. Easy to get to, but hard to spot in a new small strip mall just west of the DMV office. Extra parking in rear of building. A local favorite for breakfast and lunch.
