When no one else would give me a chance to buy something on credit Mcmahan's was the first place to let me get something even though I didn't have any credit and I was only 18. I bought a surround sound system with dvd player for about 500 dollars and I had it payed off in about a year and half with payments going for about 30 dollars a month. The salesman are very friendly.

My husband and I came in to buy a sofa & loveseat and a bed. We spent hours in there looking and the saleman was friendly. We even had him check stock because we wanted everything to arrive in one delivery. When it came down to the finance part. They were entering it in the computer and realized we just wanted to buy the bed only and not the 7 piece bedroom set. They said we couldn't do that WE HAD to purchase the whole set. Even though in the showroom the bed showed an individual price and there was no sign saying you had to buy as a set. We were angry and very disappointed when we got out of there. What a waste of time. Won't be back!

I have walked into McMahan's Furniture on four separate occasions - walked the floor twice and been in there for at least 15 minutes WITH NO SERVICE. Plenty of "floor walking sales people" who obviously can't be bothered to assist a single lady looking for an entire bedroom set......looking to spend a lot of bucks......they missed that opportunity. If it was one time I would say "fluke", but FOUR TIMES??? Despite their major store refurbish and facelift efforts, I'd say they've got to work on management before anything else!!!
