The City of Red Wing Public Works Department is a part of the city government of Red Wing in Minnesota. It oversees the various infrastructural facilities and is responsible for the maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, parks, trails, athletic fields and bridges. The department conducts the planning, programming and construction of various facilities, such as street lighting, sanitary storm sewers and water treatment plants. The City of Red Wing Public Works Department operates through utility, airport, cemetery, and government and environmental service divisions. It is also responsible for traffic control, purchasing, and fleet and parking ramp maintenance services. In addition, The City of Red Wing Public Works Department offers lawn care, snow removal and refuse collection services.
