ProAct is an organization that serves people with disabilities and offers a wide range of services that enhances employment skills and self-sufficiency capabilities. It was founded in 2002 by the merger of Owobopte and Interstate Rehabilitation Center. Its programs and services include vocational and employment programs, day training and habilitation and traumatic brain injury services. Its individualized program includes employment, occupational, speech and recreational therapies, structured exercise programs and activities of daily living, personal care and related skills. Its employment program provides long-term services in center-based and community-based work settings. ProActs s vocational program offers short-term services, such as evaluation and assessment, work adjustment training and job placement. It also provides life enhancing vocational and personal growth opportunities.
