I have used this shop for years and was surprised by the rude behavior by the owner. I myself at one time did inspections myself for a GMC dealer so I know about inspection rules. I always go over my cars first to make sure everything is in spec. The owner of this shop turns out can be very rude and unprofessional. At my last inspection the socket for the wheel lock got stuck. The mechanic brought it over to me saying he can not take the lug out of the socket which I easily removed for him. As this was going on the owner told me "I told you to get new locks and if I don't to take it to someone else". really?? He then had the mechanic pull the car outside and said "Take that junk out of here and take it somewhere else. Good tires, New break lining, all light working...everything in good shape but a wheel lock sticking for his mechanic. Since took the car elsewhere and passed with flying colors. Last year he failed some tires, they were close to failing but in spec they should have pass.

I had no complaints about the previous owners, but, there must have been some as they were losing "return business." During the inspection of my car, at what turned out to be a "slow time," I had an opportunity to speak with the owner. A very interesting young man, he has many years experience (quite a few at a dealer's shop) and seems to know his trade quite well. As a retired electronics professional, I felt I could judge his service attitude, skills and customer relationship principles. I feel I can recommend anyone to visit his shop to take advantage of a young man who, through tenacity and drive, is making his way.
