Since 1951, G & S Foundry & Manufacturing Company has produced sand castings. Primarily a foundry, the facility also houses Tri-Met Industries, its centralized network communication machining company. Located in Red Bud, Ill., the company specializes in providing cast and machined parts for customers in a variety of industries, including transportation, agriculture, manufacturing and military aircraft. G & S Foundry s in-house capabilities include three-dimensional computer-aided design model generation, encompassing reverse engineering services. In addition, the company provides a range of casting finish requirement such as abrasive finished, heat-treated, painted and/or a variety of CNC machining operations.
