The Tehama County Department of Education is responsible for the coordination of early childhood programs and related services. It regulates various schools and school districts, such as the Red Bluff Joint Union High School District, Los Molinos Unified School District, Corning Union High School District and Salisbury High School. The department additionally formulates and implements several educational curricula, including language arts, math, science, history and social studies. It operates a business services division that provides support services to more than 15 school districts, as well as the coordinates programs offered by the department. The Tehama County Department of Education maintains a library media center that provides online catalog search services. It has partnerships with Americorps, Learning Leads and Home Study.
