The Muhlenberg Township Police Department offers services for the protection of residents lives and property, as well as deterrence, detection and investigation of criminal activities. The department has a criminal investigations division that conducts follow-up investigations for all major crimes, including murder, robbery, burglary, rape and arson. The Muhlenberg Township Police Department maintains a bicycle patrol unit that conducts regular patrols and responds to calls for service. It also operates a patrol division that enforces state criminal laws and township ordinances, as well as provides traffic control, robbery and burglary investigations and evidence control services. The Muhlenberg Township Police Department has been operational for more than 75 years and is located in Temple, Pa.
