An emphasis on compassion and communication and a desire to offer all of the latest technology allows us to provide personalized state of the art care in the friendly environment of Berks County, Pennsylvania.Berks ENT specializes in Chronic ear surgery, including the surgical treatment of cholesteatomas and chronic otitis media.Middle ear and external ear canal reconstruction have been pioneered by Dr. Gianfranco Toso. The postoperative complications that might occur elsewhere have largely been eliminated because of Dr. Toso's unique expertise in the area of ear canal reconstruction.Dr. Gianfranco Toso and Dr. Elca Swigart have developed an outstanding cochlear implant program at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Since the program began, the emphasis has been on providing the most current technology to our patients. We are currently implanting the Nucleus 24 Channel device.
