Reading High School is a college preparatory school that employs a staff of more than 25 full-time, certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes special educators, library aides, guidance counselors, art and music professionals, and health and physical education instructors. It conducts academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as language arts, math, science, social studies, industrial technology, computer applications, home economics, Spanish, band and choir. Reading High School provides coaching and training in several athletic activities, including basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, swimming, wrestling, cheerleading, cross country, and track and field. The school has an annual enrollment of over 700 students in grades 7 through 12. It also conducts special education classes in bilingual teaching and gifted and talented education. Reading High School is a part of Reading Community Schools and is located in Reading, Mich.
