They do a great job of training the owners (dogs only do what their owners let them). There's usually other dogs there too, so your dog will have real-life distractions during the training (nothing is worse than thinking the dog is doing great only to have it freak out the first time it sees another dog while out on a walk). They're a little strict in the training (a yank of the collar for doing something wrong) but they also make a huge deal of making sure to praise your dog for doing something right (no treats, just praise).Again, you're the one being trained and they expect you to follow up at home. Don't bother going to the class if you're not willing to do the work (and if that's the case, you really shouldn't have a dog).Our dog is stubborn (typical of the breed) and she came from a couple that did no training at all. It's been slow progress, but we really have seen a change since she first arrived at the house.Good luck.
