General Info

Dr. Austin Welsh has 25 years’ experience in the medical field and is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Welsh completed medical schooling at Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine and residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He specializes in geriatrics. As a child, Dr. Welsh admired his grandfather, a physician, which ultimately informed his decision to pursue the same path. He enjoys collaborating with his Partners in Primary Care Raytown teammates as they work together with the shared goal of maximizing patient care. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Dr. Welsh served two years in the Peace Corps in Africa after college and before medical school.
