General Info Founded in 1917, Hinds Community College is the largest community college in Mississippi, serving more than 17,000 students in Hinds, Rankin, Warren, Copiah and Claiborne counties. Hinds Community College offers academic programs of study guaranteed to transfer to 4-year colleges and universities. At Hinds CC, we offer over 70 career and technical programs that train for high-wage, high-skilled and high-demand jobs and get you ready for the workforce, and Hinds CC offers 15 health-related programs including Nursing and Allied Health, Associate Degree Nursing, Dental Assisting, Sonography, Health Information, and more. Courses are conducted on-campus and online. Hinds Community College also conducts seminars, workshops and industrial start-up training programs for the educational, business, industrial and service needs of the community. The college supports regional and local efforts to diversify and strengthen the area’s economy.
