Established in 1947, Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company offers a range of fire safety and prevention programs to the general public. It provides life, property and environment protection services. The department additionally offers fire intervention, public education and safety awareness programs. It provides first aid training, emergency medical and water rescue services. The department offers fire inspection and investigation services for residential and commercial properties. It also offers safety tips and information on carbon monoxide, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, electronic appliances and alarm systems. Liberty Road Volunteer Fire Company has a staff of more than 15 volunteers, as well as coordinates through a variety of equipment, including fire engines, pickup trucks and ambulances.
