- X-raysIn addition to dental x-rays, our office uses both intra-oral and conventional digital cameras to allow the patient to see what we are seeing, as well as to facilitate communication with specialists and dental laboratories. This way we ensure that our patients can see exactly what we are seeing and are comfortable with the treatment plan we suggest. They also make for great before and after pictures when our patients’ smiles are finished!

- Dental SealantsA sealant is a protective coating that can help protect your back teeth. It’s important to still brush and floss daily, but sealants can help to prevent cavities. Sealants have been shown to reduce the risk of decay by nearly 80% in molars. According to the Center for Disease Control, “school-age children without sealants have almost three times more cavities than children with sealants.”

- VeneersVeneers are the most aesthetic resolution to strengthen your front teeth. While bonding is a more temporary solution Veneers will last many years before needing to be restored. Our state of art dental laboratory will customize both the shape and color of each veneer to give you the most natural smile. Click here to see our Before & After Gallery.
- CrownsCrowns are made to repair broken or chipped teeth, lighten tooth color, close gaps between teeth, and more. Crowns used to be made of pure metal, and recently it became popular to use a porcelain-metal mixture for a crown. Now we try to replace any metal crowns to use all-porcelain crowns because they look much more natural in the mouth. Metal crowns leave a dark blue line at the gum line, while porcelain crowns are nearly impossible to distinguish from natural teeth.

- Root Canal TreatmentWhat should you do if you think you have a cavity? See your dentist! Although cavities can be reversed in the early stages, by the time you are feeling discomfort or pain, only a dentist can treat them. An x-ray will be taken to determine how the cavity has progressed into the tooth. Depending on how severe the cavity is, you might need a filling to fix it. If the decay is very severe, the dentist might replace the tooth with a crown or perform a root canal.

- DenturesIf a veneer comes off, call us and we will replace it immediately. If you are in a situation that will not allow you to come in, place the temporary back in place with some Fixodent™ (denture adhesive) or Den-Temp that you can get from the pharmacy. You must still see us as soon as possible.
- Dental ImplantsSometimes we may need to replace an infected tooth, or add a brand new tooth to your smile. This can be done surgically with something called an implant. The basic procedure for an implant is to place a metal post into your gums and, once its healed, seat a crown on top of the post. The result is a natural-looking, fully functional tooth!
