Mount Woodson Elementary is one of the schools operated under the Ramona Unified School District, which also governs several other schools, including Hanson Elementary School, Barnett Elementary School and Montecito High School. Based in Ramona, Calif., Mount Woodson Elementary offers educational services to students enrolled in grades kindergarten through six. The school has various facilities, including more than 20 classrooms, a media center, cafeteria and multipurpose room, classroom wing computer stations, reading and writing laboratory, and staff workrooms. It provides instruction in a range of subjects, including music and drama, physical education, mathematics, English, science and social studies. Mount Woodson Elementary organizes several sporting events, after school programs, field trips and extracurricular activities. The school enrolls more than 650 students every year. It has a parent-teacher association that supports several school events and activities.
