Wilburn Elementary School, operated by the Wake County Public School district offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students in grades kindergarten to five. It has an academic program that includes classes in spelling, grammar, basic math skills and language arts. It also offers classes in art, physical education and computer application. Wake County Public School district operates various other elementary schools that include Highcroft Drive Elementary School, Hilburn Drive Elementary School and Hodge Road Elementary School. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that supports a variety of school activities and programs.
