We believe in and use family-friendly, humane training methods that enable effective communication between people and dogs. We teach our classes using positive-reinforcement based training and encourage the use of humane "people empowering" techniques.

I'm in the process of training an autism assistance dog for my daughter. Teamworks has been the best thing that has happened for my dog (except for me finding her abandoned at PetsMart). From the first time I called, they were focused on helping me get enrolled (I didn't have internet at home). Their office computer wasn't working right when I called, so the trainer called me back when she got home to do the on-line enrollment for the class. The class was AMAZING. The instructors were great at guiding the small group through the exercises making sure everyone was getting the hang of it. The activities were challenging for the dogs (it was their Distraction Proofing Class) and kept the handlers on their toes. Many store pet trainers are hit or miss so if you want it done right, call Teamworks (their in the Raleigh area, don't know why it said Angier). Their teachers train and compete for obedience, agility, canine musical freestyle, and fly ball. They also train therapy dogs. They really know their stuff.
