Sherry no longer works here as of around Jan 2010 - the new ophthalmologist (also a woman ) is super! I scheduled an appointment for the same day, and had a great experience. She was very nice, was able to diagnose GDP as the cause of my chronic but infrequent contact lens troubles (every other ophthalmologist just wrote it off as due to me sleeping with contacts in - but she actually took a scope and peeled my eye lids back to look at the undersides), gave me free drops to treat, dilated my eyes for the first time in my life to check for retinal tears, and explained why my optic nerve shape and size places me at elevated risk for glaucoma later on. I've never had such a through exam. With VSP insurance, cost me about $220 for the exam, years supply of contacts and solution, and free Oakley sunglasses.
