General Info
Jim Johnson was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended college at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating from law school in 1992, Mr. Johnson served as an Assistant District Attorney in Wake County and then as a prosecutor for the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office prosecuting white collar crimes, tax evasion and other tax related crimes. During this period, he gained valuable courtroom experience trying numerous jury trials. Since 1996, Mr. Johnson has practiced civil litigation concentrating on complex personal injury, medical malpractice and complex commercial litigation. For several years, he worked in larger law firms where he represented insurance companies defending large medical malpractice and personal injury cases. This experience provided him with in-depth knowledge as to how insurance companies handle injury claims, and as to what tactics a plaintiff’s lawyer can use to maximize the settlement value of a case. Since 2001, Mr. Johnson has exclusively represented injured persons in their injury and accident claims and lawsuits. He has tried many civil jury trials in both state and federal court and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit on several occasions. Mr. Johnson can and will make a difference to your case. He is ready to put his knowledge and experience to work for you to ensure you receive the maximum settlement or recovery. You deserve a veteran and seasoned trial attorney. Don’t accept a younger associate in a larger firm with little or no actual trial experience. You can’t afford to make a wrong decision in selecting your attorney. Call Jim Johnson now for your free consultation.
