I dont reccomend going to Ambis on a Saturday or any Latino club for that matter. No matter which there will be a line around the building. Ambis though has a great wait staff and as opposed to other comments no underaged drinking. The concerts get out of hand but I've yet to see one that doesnt even at Walnut Creek. Friday night though everyone has space to dance and do so beautifully. People will help teach you how to do the different dances and it is a great place to make friends. No one gets too drunk because people do get cut off. Most of the population of NC loves to drink and get drunk that is a place to escape that. This place is very classy, yet I can go in my jeans and a nice shirt and sneakers and feel right at home. This is the nicest dance club in NC, on Fridays at least. They need extra staff at concerts and on Saturdays but if you dont go on Sat its perfect. A great place for romantic date.

Yesturday, went to see the group Aventura. I ask one of the bar-tender and ask for a mix-drink. This person, a female, didn't even had a clue of what i was talking about. I ask for a Margarita for my girlfriend and she gave me a pina colada. That's not all, the security is bad as well. I don't know who contracts this security. Later that even a fight started. There was no security around. I looked at my watch for more than a minute and still no security. My cuncern is the safety of others. Not everyone goes there to get drunk! There's good music, but poor service overall. Also, this is one of the places that one can see underage driking or drunk, for what i see.

one bad thing it gets WAY 2 CROWDED. But the MUSIC is WORTH it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
