Opportunities and matches are few and far between, usually a result of couples own networking. Staff is not professional, knowledgeable, consistent, or responsive. Documentation is poorly written with numerous basic grammatical errors. Staff refuses to follow program agreement stating that it is outdated to the detriment of adoptive parents. "Monthly" updates are sent out in two to three month intervals. Almost all meetings and trainings are rescheduled at the last minute, disorganized, and not informative. Required reading material is not current with open adoption philosophies. Selecting an adoption agency is an important decision. Do not make the mistake of choosing A Child's Hope.
