POOR MANAGEMENT!!!! NO POLICY ON NOTIFYING PARENTS OF INJURY!! ARGUMENTATIVE MANAGEMENT!!!! My infant was enrolled here for at least 4 months and its very obvious that the management needs improvement. One of the MANY incidents: I picked my child up last Friday and noticed that she had a large scratch on her face and was placed on her stomach, where she was still bleeding on to the backside of her hand. When I asked the teacher what happened and why wasn't I notified, she replied that she didn't notice it because my child was in her new classroom and had just been sent to what I thought was her primary class. Meaning, A) my child had been transitioned to a different classroom without my knowledge and B) there had been an injury without any notification to the parent. I brought this to the director's attention, and it took me 3 additional times to request an incident report in person and over the phone and 5 days until I was able to even get an incident report. There was no apology, an

My child use to go to this daycare. We had a very high rotation of teachers, so my daughter was always in the adjustment stage with the new faces. They dont teach them much; always playing. Her stuff was always coming up missing. I had enough and moved her. You could tell that mmost of the teachers were collecting a paycheck, their was not passion. This was last year, not sure if they got better.

My children have been with BBEC in Raeford since 2008 and while they have gone through some growing pains, I have to say that we have had wonderful teachers for all of our children. There have been a couple of times when I expressed my concern with one or two of the providers and my requests were heard and appropriate action was taken each time. I have and will continue to recommend this center. I feel very blessed to have the teachers that my children have and have had.

My son has attended Building Blocks in Raeford, NC for two years. At first, in early 2009, the facility was amazing with phenomenal teachers. Over the course of the last year, the daycare quickly spiraled downhill. The teachers that my son came to know and love were replaced by others who didnt seem to care. I tried to ride it out and thought this would quickly be resolved, however it just progressively got worse. My son struggled with 'favoritism' in his last two classes. There would be times that I would drop my son off and the teachers wouldnt even acknowledge him. The teachers seem like theyre only there to collect a paycheck, not monitor and love the children. Don't be fooled by a nice and shiny high tech daycare, the teachers dont love and support your child like your paying for and the directors feel as though their teachers couldnt possibly be in the wrong. I would NOT recommend this facility to ANYONE!

We always have "issues" with our five-month-old's classroom. The teachers become offended when I step in and correct them. We never come home with all our bottles or clothes, for one thing. Once, our son's "area" was red, raw, & bleeding and warranted an ER trip, and just the other day a teacher didn't think I was feeding him enough so she went and told me she "bought something from the gas station to feed him"....!!! What!!! We are actively looking for elsewhere, I just can't believe the trash that's in town! He will not be spending more than the next two months there, or ever again!!

Looking for a new daycare as we speak. They dumped the good teachers and hired new ones that are questionable. There is no consistancy. Front staff is unfriendly and down right rude. Son screams when i go to drop him off. For 600 a month you would think they would go over letters and shapes in the toddler room, they dont. Caught a teach manhandle-ing a little girl today. Truly there is only a handful of good teachers left. My child has been there since he was barely one. Actively looking elsewhere. to best put it -- i dont feel 'comfortable' leaving him.

Top notch building but sadly the teachers and director are not!

Beautiful facility but teachers have limited experience with children.
