Brooks County High School is a public, college preparatory school located in Quitman, Ga. The school provides classes to more than 550 students in grades seven through 12. The school offers various curriculum options, including college prep, technical career with distinction, technical career and special needs. Its core curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, world languages, science, mathematics and social studies. It offers various art forms that include one act play, debate, marching and concert band, literary meet, chorus and art. It also offers a wide range of sports activities, including football, basketball, softball, cheerleading, tennis, baseball, golf, wrestling and track. The school s facility comprises a library, special weight training facility, student chapel, science laboratories, cafeteria, computer science laboratory, gymnasium and athletic field. Brooks County High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
