- Kitchen RemodelingYes and No. Once you have chosen a home site and a floor plan, you have many personalization options from which to choose, including elevation, patio cover, paint scheme, and interior design choices such as cabinets, faucets, countertops, etc. However, to build efficiently and keep costs low for all our customers, we cannot support structural changes such as adding a new window or moving a wall, as those would require re-engineering of the entire floor plan.
- Bathroom RemodelingBuying a used home means accepting the previous owner’s design tastes or paying someone after buying the home to make changes to suit your tastes better. By buying a newly constructed home, you can personalize your home upfront by choosing colors, flooring, cabinets, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and appliances that are best suited to your lifestyle and design preferences. At Aho Construction, our sales representatives will walk you through the many modern, classic, and stylish design choices we have to offer and provide you with advice on how to combine colors, surfaces, and textures to best meet your tastes and lifestyle.
- FlooringBuilding a home can take several months, and we understand home buyers are excited to see their home as it moves through the process. Unfortunately, construction sites contain many hidden dangers such as open flooring, exposed wiring, and sharp edges. Homebuyers risk personal injury by entering a home while it is under construction. For that reason, we strongly discourage home buyers from going inside the home while it is being constructed.

- Irrigation SystemsBefore purchasing our current home, we looked at many different homes, and many different builders all over Clark County. We chose Aho Construction for the following reasons: 1. We loved the look of the neighborhood (Green Gables) and we loved the location. It was close to the freeway for an easy commute, but far enough out that we have lots of peace and quiet and we are away from traffic, crowds, etc. 2. We like the parks, and the walking trails, and how all of the homes are new and beautiful. We like the small town of Ridgefield, the people are very polite and friendly. 3. We went through many model homes from many different builders, but all of the staff at aho were BY FAR the nicest, and the most helpful at showing us our options and answering all of our questions. 4. The staff at Aho construction continued to be very friendly and extremely helpful throughout all of the building process. 5. We love the floor plan of the home we chose, and we did not see any other houses in this price range and this size that we liked better at the other builders’ neighborhoods. we love how our home is very open and has a spacious feel that other 2 story homes didn’t have. aho also had the options and architectural details that we wanted, available as upgrades. we knew we wanted a home with high ceilings, lots of wood floors, lots of windows, pretty doors, granite, etc. 6. It was important to us to have a backyard, and sooooo many of new homes built recently in other neighborhoods are totally lacking space in the backyard. At aho we got the yard we wanted. they also included grass, a fence, and a sprinkler system all in the standard price of our home. Those were things we always had to purchase separately when we had built homes before. 7. We shop around, and we like to spend our money wisely. with aho construction we feel we got the best value for our dollars. We got a home with all of the options we wanted for less than we would have paid with other builders we looked at.

- Garage Door Repair/ReplacementOne of the truisms of homeownership is that there is always something that needs to be repaired or updated, whether it’s a leaky faucet, the aging air conditioner, or the broken garage door spring. Buyers of new construction homes have the peace of mind of knowing that all the materials used to build their home – the appliances and the systems included with their new home are all brand new and made to the latest quality and energy efficiency standards. These combine to reduce energy costs, minimize repair bills and greatly decrease home maintenance headaches. Add to all that, a comprehensive warranty, and the total cost of owning a new home is considerably lower than a resale home.
